Motivation

Without motivated learners there is no classroom. Adult learners are motivated both intrinsically and extrinsically. Knowing why people are in the class will help me foster curiosity. I never thought to throw in some mystery; a special activity can grab attention and fun. Developing activities that are stimulating, relevant and facilitated by different mediums helps to keep learners engaged. It is important to incorporating different teaching strategies to ensure all learning styles are covered and everyone can be successful. Achievement and rewards are another part of motivation. I now understand what type reward system work for intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.
